Lennie is a conductor, singer, educator, and arranger living in Portland, OR. He is the Director of Choirs at Valley Catholic School in Beaverton, Oregon where he teaches middle and high school music. Lennie is also the Associate Director and Choir Manager of the Oregon Repertory Singers. Before moving to Portland in 2016, Lennie worked for the Chicago Children’s Choir as an In-School Conductor, teaching music and leading choirs of students grades 3-8 throughout the city of Chicago.
Lennie is the co-founder of Constellation Men’s Ensemble, a non-profit professional men’s chamber choir.
Lennie sings regularly with the Oregon Repertory Singers and as a session singer with Oregon Catholic Press, and has performed with Portland's Cappella Romana, Singer/Songwriter Naomi LaViolette, Chicago’s Music of the Baroque, and the Church of the Atonement Schola.
Lennie holds a Masters of Music in Conducting from Portland State University where he studied with Ethan Sperry, and a Bachelors of Music in Music Education from Northwestern University where he studied with Donald Nally.
